Lots of things to do in Kelowna
To mark the BC Family Day statutory holiday, City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 18th.
Start Family Day weekend with a dance party: On Saturday, Feb. 16, families are invited to put on their dancing shoes to enjoy a fun-filled evening together from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Parkinson Recreation Centre. The free event features DJ Haymaker and exciting party games.
Families can keep the celebrations going by getting active at the Capital News Centre from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday Feb. 18. Various games including Park & Play bouncy castles, Zorb soccer, skating and other activities will be available to guarantee a fun, safe and active day together. Skaters can bring their own skates or rentals are available for a fee. Helmets are required.

The Glenmore Landfill will be open regular hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery administration office will be closed Monday, however, cemetery gates are open throughout the long weekend from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
