On April 23, 2025, West Kelowna RCMP with the assistance of the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue recovered the 64-year-old man who was pushed into the lake inside his vehicle on April 1, 2025 following a significant mud slide on West Side Road.
